I just decided to write this post mostly because I'm feeling really determined and inspired today. I've mentioned in one of my previous posts that I want to be a bit healthier and do some yoga, workout, etc. This morning I felt determined to fulfill this goal and I hope to make a habit of it.
I woke up this morning feeling extremely well-rested, finally! Being that I do not have any morning classes this morning, I decided to get up off my lazy bum and do something so I got my yoga mat out and fired away for a few minutes. I cannot even explain how easy basic yoga can actually be and it definitely makes a difference in how I feel after. I feel so much more energized and my body actually feels a bit stronger and flexible even if you do it for 10-15 minutes. I think this is such a great way to start off your day or if you already work out, it's a great way to end a workout session to allow your body to relax.
After some brief yoga, I got out my apple and oat jar out of the fridge that I had in the night before. It's such an easy and yummy breakfast that you can take to go since it's in a Mason Jar. It tastes really good and you can always mess with the ingredients a bit to adjust to what you like, while staying within the general category of food. I hope you enjoyed this short little health post and I really hope to try and maintain this type of morning because I feel so much better than I usually do at this time.
