Recently, I have been trying to be phpysically active at least 3-4 times a week...& surprisingly, I have been able to stay consistent with this. Being active has always been somewhat of a struggle for me, at least when it comes to consistency. Even though I believe that it is so important to stay active, it's been difficult for me to stay on track and on somewhat of a schedule. Today, particularly, I went on a mile walk at a local park. I know that it isn't much at all, but it's a personal accomplishment. Apart from going on walks when I can, what has really been helping me with staying consistent throughout the week is a YouTube channel that I found called "Lucy Wyndham-Read".
Lucy is a professional trainer who makes tons of videos about health and fitness, and her channel's community is so encouraging and positive. I was so happy when I found her channel because her videos are all short but challenging workouts and tips that will help you stay consistent and motivated in your fitness journey. It is important to remember that in order to stay active and fit, you do not have to go to the gym twice a day. As a student, living in the dorms and involved with music ministry, sometimes I can use these things as an excuse to not work out. What I like about her channel is that it gives you access to hundreds of different workouts in just a few clicks. I'll go ahead and link one of her videos below so you can check it out for yourself! So, if you are looking for something that will motivate and encourage you to stay on top of your fitness, I recommend going on YouTube and looking up her channel for sure :)
