(my sister's yummy rose black milk tea ^^^)
About a month ago, I saw a really beautiful photo on Instagram of a coffee shop in Tustin. I instantly knew that I had to go and check it out. As I did a bit more research on the coffee shop, I realized that it was actually a part of a women's clothing boutique! How cute is that?! Not only can I get a really yummy, pretty latte, but I can even pick out a dress if I wanted to. This sounded like a dream! A few weeks later, I made it out one Sunday afternoon and it was everything I imagined!
Everything about the location is beautiful. I absolutely loved both inside and outside of the shop. The minute you walk in, the staff is so friendly and inviting. As I worked my way to the back where the coffee shop is at, I saw a really beautiful floral backdrop for photos which I had seen on Instagram. Of course, I had to get a few shots there. Apparently one pretty wall wasn't enough for them! Across the way there was an adorable wallpaper that definitely offers another great photo opportunity for its customers. This place made me feel like I was living in an interior design magazine. They even had a patio outside with white tables and pink accents...I mean, come on! AND let me tell you about their lattes!
Wow. Their drinks are exquisite. Once I had my first sip though, I really fell in love. Sometimes great taste is put off to the side for a greater aesthetic appeal at coffee shops, but this was not the case at Morning Lavender. I felt obligated to buy their Lavender latte, of course lol, and it did not disappoint :) Unfortunately, this time around, I did not try any of their pastries, but when I go back, I'll have to try a croissant for sure! They looked soooo good at their counter.
Without a doubt, if you are in the OC area and are wanting to find a place to work, relax, or have a cute coffee date, pull up Google maps and enter Morning Lavender in! You will not be disappointed! Plus, you might even find a new outfit ;)
My boyfriend and I have finally gone to Idyllwild up in the San Jacinto Mountains, and can I just say...it is gorgeous! The weather was cold and perfect for exploring this little town, and in doing so, I may or may not have had a latte in the cutest coffee shop! I brought my XL Black Acid Wash Sand Cloud towel (you can never get enough of their products, no matter what season it is) which I definitely used more like a blanket! It is so handy to keep in your car or to take on any adventurous trips like this! They're currently having so many winter sales lately, so keep your eyes out for that! I've linked my towel at the end of this post.
First off, we were so hungry when we got through the winding roads, so we stopped at the Red Kettle in the town center. They have a really good egg and sausage breakfast plate and I definitely recommend getting an order of their biscuits if you ever visit. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of my food because I was so hungry when I they brought it out. Sorry!
And of course after about an hour of walking around town and taking photos, we couldn't forget about the local coffee shop, Higher Grounds. Per usual, I ordered my hazelnut latte, and it was incredible! The customer service was great, they had loads of options on the menu for nearly any drink you could think of and quite a bit of baked goods (I stayed strong and held out on getting one of their massive cookies). This was the best ending to such a relaxing day out... I will be back for you, Idyllwild.

I’ve heard of this coffee shop for a couple of years now. I finally had the opportunity to try it out! My boyfriend and I met up with a friend for a little coffee date, which turned into a 5 hour evening of catching up and talking about going on a London getaway! Haha. If only 🙈
I ordered an iced vanilla latte (one of my go-tos) with a banana nut muffin. My latte was so yummy! It was a little strong, but it had the vanilla taste that blended so well together along with my muffin. Another thing was the size of the muffin! It actually got me full from half of it with my drink, which is surprising for a foodie like myself! There were so many different drinks to choose from on their menu in addition to their seasonal drinks that they have on display. The prices were average, which was great, and I really liked the chill vibes that it had.
There was a really comfy and cozy couch space; that sold me right away! They have plenty of seating outside and a good amount inside as well which I always like! It can be irritating to go into a coffee shop with 4 tables and a counter at the register, especially when you’re meeting with friends. The more room, the better!
Overall, I’d recommend you trying Restoration Roasters if you haven’t already! It’s in Corona, CA on the Crossroads Christian Church campus. This place is perfect for any sort of coffee run or adventure. Make sure to check it out!
This past weekend, I had the wonderful privilege of going to Tea Rose Garden in Old Town Pasadena with my mom and sister. What a treat this place was! I practically walked in with heart eyes. Everything about being there made me feel relaxed and I truly enjoyed every single second. On top of the aesthetic and atmosphere, the food (& tea of course) was the cherry on top of the experience.
I had no idea that the food I ordered was going to fill me up quite as much as it did. They give you the perfect portions of everything, making such a balanced and, overall, delicious meal. I had the strawberry Nutella and chicken almond finger sandwiches with a salad, fresh fruit, and a blueberry scone. I think I actually got some other desserts that I had no idea came with what I ordered as well! It was definitely filling and it tasted amazing, honestly! Also, can we talk about the edible flowers that were thrown into almost everything?! And don't get me started on the TEA...My choice of tea was pomegranate green tea, and it was so tasty! I just dropped one or two sugar cubes in, and I had a sip of perfection.
If you are ever in Old Town with your gal pals, or just feel like having a guaranteed amazing time, go to Tea Rose Garden. You won't regret it and you'll have amazing photo ops, no doubt.
P.S. I'm sorry if my photos made you drool.
On Thursday, I almost made the mistake of going somewhere that I've been to hundreds of times before, but instead I chose something NEW.
Yes, this was my first time at Big Bear! It was so gorgeous. Although, it wasn't snowy like I always dreamt it'd be (I'll have to go again when it's actually winter), it was so pretty! There came a point in time that we were pulling over every 60 seconds because there was another beautiful view to capture. And don't get me started on all of the restaurants, cafés, and other adorable shops. I kind of went a little crazy with my camera, so I thought I'd share the 10299499672 pictures that I took!
Unfortunately I have no idea what the name of this music shop is, but it was so cool and I saw sooo many things I wanted to buy in here. You can definitely find some gems at this place.
This food was so yummy! I ordered a blueberry waffle and Richie had some biscuits and gravy, which were also AMAZING. I will definitely be back for some breakfast. Also, can we please just acknowledge the fact that it's called Teddy Bear Restaurant?! 😍🐻

I just want to start off by saying Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you, and I genuinely hope that you've been enjoying the holidays. I've had the greatest few weeks off from school, and have totally been enjoying not having homework to do in between my watching Netflix! One of the few things that could distract me from the fact that Christmas has officially passed is this adorable tea room that I have been wanting to go to forever. My sister and I had a sister day out, pretty much driving around all of Southern California.
Aside from the incredibly cute aesthetic of this place, the tea was amazing! & did I mention they have boba?!
Also, they had loads of awesome merchandise that I wish I could have bought every single piece they had out including cactus pins, note cards, candles, and the list goes on.
You should definitely check this place out, especially if you're a tea drinker! I ordered the Earl Grey milk tea with boba and it was honestly SO good, and the flavor was a lot stronger than the average cup of tea is at most other places, which I really enjoyed.
My sister and I kind of had a whole photo session that went on as soon as we arrived. I just loved how these photos turned out, and I am so happy I was able to document and keep these memories on here for myself and to share with you all!
I was finally to check out the Last Bookstore in LA about a week ago & I loved it! It's such a cool and creative place just to hang out and relax while looking at tons and tons of books and art. This is definitely the perfect place to go visit if you're in the city/downtown area and maybe want to enjoy a more chill afternoon with some friends or even by yourself.
I hope you enjoy this short post of another new experience of mine! Feel free to comment down below if you've been here as well and let me know what you thought about it!
