This past week has been overwhelming, exciting, stressful, fun, and new. As I go into another year of college, new challenges are already on their way. I am determined and excited to not only face every challenge but to conquer each one. With God, my friends, and my family, I know this semester will be both successful and all worth it.
With back-to-school season arriving fro most people and summer coming to an end, it is so important to stay calm and stress-free while you enter into a new school year (as hard as it may be). My first week back was pretty tough, but I am getting back into the groove of school, homework, and trying to manage my time better. Of course, you still need a balance of school work and just relaxing whether that is going to the beach, taking a Disney trip, going to a coffee shop, or even as simple as taking a walk. I have also found it helpful to change my scenery once in a while as I do my homework. Personally, I enjoy doing homework in the library, at the beach or outside instead of being in my dorm room all the time. I just get bored of it!
With stress levels rising on campus, I needed to get out and escape from it all for a while. Disneyland, of course, saved me from insane this weekend. My friend Cindi and I had the best day! As we got back to school that night, we felt sooo much better than we had just hours before.
A few days before, I also had a nice little date with my favorite guy and obviously, all my worries left. Just being outside on such a beautiful day in such a beautiful city made me feel at peace as I was mesmerized by the gorgeous view in front of me.
I encourage you to go out and just do something you enjoy every so often so that your mind can relax and reboot. It's easy to get trapped in your daily schedule as your drown with tasks, assignments, and endless lists of things to get done; at work, school, home, anywhere and everywhere. So take some time this week to try and just relax and not think about all the things that go through your mind every day. We all need to just chill and ENJOY our days. Every single day is such a blessing so let's not let the responsibilities in life overwhelm us and rob us of a good day/week!
Lately, I have been getting ready to go back to school this month with some small shopping trips to get some school supplies I don't have for this semester yet as well as some clothing items, and even home ware items.
I wanted to share a few of these items with you on here in case you are looking for similar items, just want some inspiration or an idea on anything that you need, or to just make sure you haven't forgotten anything!
Anthropologie has THE CUTEST planners ever!!!! This one I thought was adorable with a more classic, minimalist look. & with some cute stickers (wink wink) you can decorate it a bit more and make it your own!
A cute and simple denim shirt is always a great go-to for a cute and easy outfit if you are having trouble on picking out what to wear.
These black workout pants are soooo comfy!! These are perfect for your lazy days when you don't even feel like getting dressed. With a cute graphic t-shirt, this outfit actually looks quite cute and effortless, obviously!
The best part about these items, were their super affordable prices!!! The only thing I do not have a link for is the tumbler, which was given to me. But all of the rest will have a link down below :) I hope you all have successful shopping trips for school supplies, back to school clothes, and other fun goodies you might want to get for dorms, decor, etc! Good luck!
